Around 1: 50 AM, bend police sent to a car fire in 1424 Milwaukie Ave. N.W., said Sgt. Nick Parker. They arrived to find a Green 1996 Toyota Camry in the driveway, the house owner in bed, he said.
Party reporting seeing someone fled the scene, describing him as a white male adult, about 20-30 years old, 5-foot-10-6 feet tall and with a thin build, Parker said.
While looking for a suspect, the officers found two vehicles damaged by a fire in the driveway at 1454 NW Newport Ave, Parker said, adding that it was a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck gold 1998.
Officers continued to search the car and found the third burned in 1391 NW Newport Avenue–the location of the officers saw the men being run from, Parker said.
Bend Fire Department responded and put out the fire, but the car was completely burned and destroyed, Parker said.
